Visiting Mimi and Pawpaw

We got to go visit Mimi and Pawpaw for Memorial Day and then Chloe and I got to go back in June for a little vacation.  Chloe has been begging and begging to go see Mimi and Pawpaw so she was so very excited when we finally got to go visit.

 Playing with Rugar

She eats ice cream every night with Pawpaw before bed.  She wants every last drop!

 Puppy Kisses

 Helping with the flower beds

 Playing fetch

Entertaining herself in the car. Oh my!

Painting a mug for Mimi and Pawpaw

She has loved getting to play outside, chase the kitty, and play with the family.

Gramma and Poppa's Visit

Steve and Cindy got to come for a little visit in May.  We always love getting to see them when they come visit.  Chloe was so super excited.  She was stuck to them like glue all weekend.  I left my camera at home pretty much all weekend, but did manage to get a goo picture of them together before they went home.

A Bunch of Pictures

We are about to have another post with a bunch of random pictures! Get ready!

Winter time indoor play with Daddy is way different than it is with Mama.  We get to bounce on storage containers like a trampoline and then launch ourselves off of them like a diving board.

Playing in her "room" with her stuffed friends and blankets.  Silly girl.

Fell asleep while cuddling with Daddy.

Playing in the sunshine, at last!

 Play-Doh

Soapy water playtime on a chilly day

 Holding hands at lunch time

 My little artist

 Loves anything that is crafty

Helping Daddy decorate Poppa's birthday card

A complete accident, but she was very proud that she made a "B"

Waiting for Daddy to come home from work

We had a petting farm at MDO one day.  Chloe loved it and still talks about it.  The baby chicks were her favorite and at one point she had one in each hand and was hopping up and down from excitement.  Poor little chicks.  I hope they all survived the day!

Coloring while we are doing laundry

 Pretty little pose

She is so funny.  I love the static in her hair too.

Tired little girl fell asleep while watching a movie with Daddy

I was getting laundry out of the washer and turned around to find this.  Don't worry I made her get right out, but it was too cute not to take a picture first.

Pflug Christmas

Christmas with my family this year was a little different and I don't have many pictures to document it.  My Papaw passed away a couple of days before Christmas so we had his graveside service on Christmas Eve.  It was a Christmas full of emotion as we mourned the loss of a very special person and rejoiced that he was no longer suffering, but instead actually getting to spend Christmas with Jesus.

A couple of days after Christmas was his memorial service, but at this point I was super sick so had to stay home because I thought I was going to die. 2 days after I got sick Chloe got sick at which point we finally asked Clint to take us to a clinic in Amarillo where we were diagnosed with the flu.  2 days later, after Clint had gone home to go back to work, he got sick.  My dad was the last victim of this nasty bug, but thankfully my mom and sister managed to escape somehow.  It was a Christmas break to remember for sure, but that is why there are not too many pictures.

 Christmas Eve gift

 Puzzles

 Her new vacuum

Showing Mamaw (Chloe isn't trying to start a new trend, she got the panties in her stocking and insisted on wearing them.)

She insisted on having Mimi and Pawpaw sit right beside her while she played with the magnets on the refrigerator

A Little Catch Up - August

Ok, now August.  August turned in to a long month.  It was hot and that was about it.  Chloe and I wondered all over the campground.  She got bored with all the out door toys, and the playground.  We did have an awesome opportunity come up though.  Our church started a Mother's Day Out program.  They were hiring teachers so I applied and got hired.  Chloe gets to attend the program as part of the job.  It really is perfect.  It gets us out of the house a little bit, we make a little bit of money to put towards a house, and Chloe gets to play!

We took a little weekend trip to Dallas in August with Clint's cousins.  We went to the water park and toured the football stadium.  I didn't get very many pictures because, well, cameras and water don't mix and keeping up with a toddler while in a strange place makes taking pictures difficult too.

Most of the pictures this month wound up being from my phone.  Guess I just always left the camera at home....

Ready to go play.  Notice the tan lines.  We practically lived outside during the summer.

 Shopping

Picking flowers and carrying a football

Lost in the sea of stuffed friends

How she entertained herself while I was packing suitcases

Poor sick little girl fell asleep while I was in the shower

Having a little lunch while waiting to have a flat fixed

Jumping on the bed at the hotel in Dallas

Drawing with Jaxon

So that wraps up another month!  Making progress!  A few more days and we should be current!  Thanks for sticking with me!

Memorial Day Fun

Clint had a long weekend for Memorial Day weekend so we loaded up and drove to Amarillo after he got off on Friday.  Living closer to my family means that we can now take little weekend trips to get out of town.  We had a good time getting to see the family and Chloe really enjoyed it too.  The last visit to Amarillo was really hard on her.  She was upset, sick and crying the whole time so I was a little nervous for this trip.  Other than not sleeping through the night, she did great!  She was happy, friendly and loved playing with everyone!

Mimi found some cute little cars at a garage sale right before we came and Chloe thought they were the best toys on the planet.  She couldn't get enough of them.

 Taking a ride

 Sunny afternoon drive!

 Taking her turn pushing

 Working hard!

 Having fun with the puppy

 Putting rocks in the trunk

Playing legos

We had a nice relaxing visit and enjoyed all the space in the house.  Chloe loved having an area to run and play and some new toys to play with.

MawMaw's Visit

Clint's grandma came to Odessa to visit some family that lives here and take a little vacation to Hawaii.  When she got back, we got to hang out with her for dinner a few nights.  One night she took everyone to Mr. G@tties so the little ones would have a place to run around and get the wiggles out.  They all had lots of fun, and Chloe got to pick out two little bouncy balls with her tickets.  She was in heaven because she is a huge fan of balls at the moment.

 Playing air hockey

Trying to beat Daddy at the game

 What are these for?

 Throw it hard!
 Forget that!  this is easier!

 Eyeballing the other balls.

Inching back down

Such a fun family night!!
