Visiting Mimi and Pawpaw

We got to go visit Mimi and Pawpaw for Memorial Day and then Chloe and I got to go back in June for a little vacation.  Chloe has been begging and begging to go see Mimi and Pawpaw so she was so very excited when we finally got to go visit.

Amarillo Vacation

Chloe got to meet her cousins for the first time.  Her and Savannah weren't super sure about each other at first.  They are slowly warming up to each and are starting to have fun together.  I think  Natalie is about Chloe's favorite person right now.  She is having lots of fun playing with the little girls though.  They are super cute playing together and Chloe loves to be a clown and make all the little girls laugh.  When they start laughing at her she get tickled and starts giggling too.

Airport Travel

Chloe and I got to go to Amarillo for a bit to visit family and see my sister and her family.  They are traveling through on their move across the country.  It was Chloe's first time flying and she did remarkably well.  She did super good on the first flight.  Our second flight got delayed a little and it was past her nap time so she was getting antsy and wiggly and little fussy, but she still still much better than I anticipated.  She did have a great time pushing her stroller back and forth down the halls.

A Weekend Away

One of Clint's cousins got married over the weekend so we got to get out of town for a couple of days and enjoy some family and down time.

Beautiful wild flowers.  I have always heard about the flowers that grow here but never got to experience them for myself before.  I was very excited to finally be able to see them.  I kept looking for the Blue Bonnets but never did see any.
