Visiting Mimi and Pawpaw

We got to go visit Mimi and Pawpaw for Memorial Day and then Chloe and I got to go back in June for a little vacation.  Chloe has been begging and begging to go see Mimi and Pawpaw so she was so very excited when we finally got to go visit.

Gramma and Poppa's Visit

Steve and Cindy got to come for a little visit in May.  We always love getting to see them when they come visit.  Chloe was so super excited.  She was stuck to them like glue all weekend.  I left my camera at home pretty much all weekend, but did manage to get a goo picture of them together before they went home. 

Daddy Daughter Dates

Clint and Chloe have gone on a few daddy daughter dates lately.  Our church had a tea party for them one day and once a month I have a teacher's meeting on Tuesday night, so every once in a while they go out for dinner while I am gone.

 I was putting on a scarf and sunglasses to go to my meeting and Chloe insisted on borrowing one of my scarves and then went to find her sunglasses before she left with Daddy to eat.  

I posted a picture of their Daddy/Daughter tea a few days ago where she had her total cheese face on.  This one is a perfect picture of both of them.  I think I need to print this one!

I always wonder what they do on their dates, but I love seeing them get to go do stuff just the two of them.  Such special times and she will love having those memories.

 We had a petting farm at MDO one day.  Chloe loved it and still talks about it.  The baby chicks were her favorite and at one point she had one in each hand and was hopping up and down from excitement.  Poor little chicks.  I hope they all survived the day!

Halloween

We had Mother's Day Out on Halloween this year so all the kids got to dress up for class.  I found this little lady bug costume for Chloe and I thought she made the cutest little lady bug ever.  The pictures aren't great because she wasn't in the mood to cooperate that early in the morning.  She had a little party in her classroom and got all kinds of goodies.  

That night we went to a fall festival at one of the churches in town.  It was a lot of fun, but we didn't get to stay too late because she didn't have a nap that day was getting really tired and fussy.

It was a busy but fun day!

Ok, I am just going to say that the following pictures are not that flattering, but life is about memories and I couldn't pass up documenting these.  I had been trying to get Chloe to pose for a picture and finally gave up and started just playing around.  When she figured out what was happening she really got into it and I had to delete about 100 pictures off my camera.  I saved the best ones though for your viewing pleasure.

A Little Catch Up - August

Ok, now August.  August turned in to a long month.  It was hot and that was about it.  Chloe and I wondered all over the campground.  She got bored with all the out door toys, and the playground.  We did have an awesome opportunity come up though.  Our church started a Mother's Day Out program.  They were hiring teachers so I applied and got hired.  Chloe gets to attend the program as part of the job.  It really is perfect.  It gets us out of the house a little bit, we make a little bit of money to put towards a house, and Chloe gets to play!

We took a little weekend trip to Dallas in August with Clint's cousins.  We went to the water park and toured the football stadium.  I didn't get very many pictures because, well, cameras and water don't mix and keeping up with a toddler while in a strange place makes taking pictures difficult too. 

Most of the pictures this month wound up being from my phone.  Guess I just always left the camera at home....

A Little Catch Up - June

Oh dear!  I am so far behind!  You will have to excuse the past several months of quiet.  We have been busy playing outside, grilling out, still trying to find our routine after moving, I was organizing and getting photos put into an album, reading books, playing in the pool.... all kinds of summer activities!  Then summer turned to fall....  That coupled with my spotty internet and, well I haven't been motivated to get to the blogging.  I guess it is time to play a little catch up so get ready!  These next couple of posts will be crazy and full of random pictures and news so I can get caught up and ready for the holidays and new posts!

Let's see, I last posted in May so that means I need to start in June.  June held a visit from Mimi and Pawpaw, lots of playing outside.  We sweated A LOT!  Father's Day was in June, eating ice cream....  Well I'll just show you the cute pictures!
