Mother's Day 2014

I had a great Mother's day weekend this year.  We didn't get to see either one of our mothers this year, but we did get to talk to both of them on the phone.  We got Olive Garden to go on Friday night which is my favorite place to eat.  On Saturday we went to a wildlife preserve that is in our area and had a nice little walk.  They had an activity for the kids where they got to color a flower pots for the moms and plant a flower.  They had Lantanas for the kids to plant which I was very excited for because I love those flowers.  Then Sunday was church and Clint took us out for ice cream that afternoon.  I enjoyed the weekend very much hanging out with my little family.

Easter 2014

This was the first "normal" Easter we have done for Chloe  The first year she was here she was too little to do all the Easter activities so we didn't really do too much for her.  Last year we got to Odessa the Saturday before Easter so we were unloading a moving van on Easter Sunday.  Mimi and Pawpaw got some Easter goodies for her that year, but this year it was up to Mama and Daddy for the Easter fun!  Between school and family she had 3 egg hunts and got some fun goodies in the mail from grandparents.  She got a package from her Gramma and Poppa too, but I guess Clint helped her open it when I was making dinner or something because I didn't get any pictures.

We had a very nice weekend hanging out at home and chilling and remembering the real reason we celebrate this holiday.  We are extremely grateful to our God for His love and sacrifice for us.

Pflug Christmas

Christmas with my family this year was a little different and I don't have many pictures to document it.  My Papaw passed away a couple of days before Christmas so we had his graveside service on Christmas Eve.  It was a Christmas full of emotion as we mourned the loss of a very special person and rejoiced that he was no longer suffering, but instead actually getting to spend Christmas with Jesus.

A couple of days after Christmas was his memorial service, but at this point I was super sick so had to stay home because I thought I was going to die. 2 days after I got sick Chloe got sick at which point we finally asked Clint to take us to a clinic in Amarillo where we were diagnosed with the flu.  2 days later, after Clint had gone home to go back to work, he got sick.  My dad was the last victim of this nasty bug, but thankfully my mom and sister managed to escape somehow.  It was a Christmas break to remember for sure, but that is why there are not too many pictures.

Showing Mamaw (Chloe isn't trying to start a new trend, she got the panties in her stocking and insisted on wearing them.)

She insisted on having Mimi and Pawpaw sit right beside her while she played with the magnets on the refrigerator

Mann Christmas

This year since we had a major move and are trying our best to save for a house we couldn't go back to Houston to see Clint's family for Christmas.  We are so thankful that his parents were able to drive out for a few days so we could see them and have Christmas with some of Clint's family.

2 Years Old

Chloe turned 2 in November despite all my pleading that she stay 1.  The weather was perfect, and her Mimi and Pawpaw came to help us celebrate.  We celebrated it all weekend.  We went to the pumpkin patch and she had a blast there doing all the fun things they had.  Her favorite were the slides.  She couldn't get enough!
