Couch Fun!

For some reason, lately, Chloe has decided that playing on a pile of blankets and pillows is pretty fun. She will find the blankets and pillows from all around the living room and I will help her put them in a pile and all kinds of giggles and fun follow!

 

I am glad that she is so easily entertained.... most days anyway....

A Little Mess

Our little Chloe is a bit of a neat freak.  She is learning where things go and she likes everything to be in its place.  She will throw away the trash, put our shoes by the door and wipe up messes from the floor.  The crayon on the walls and the pen marks from where she drew on the couch bother her very much and she points them out to me on a daily basis.  Every once in a while though, I guess a little girl just has to be messy.  I have watched her go into her room and, one at a time, take a bow from the bow holder and walk in to the living room and throw it as hard as she can.  She continues this until all the bows that she can reach are in the floor.  After doing this she will go back to whatever it was that she was doing.  She cracks me up!

A Little Imagination

I love watching Chloe play these days.  She seems to be getting a bit of an imagination.  I would love to know what she is thinking while she plays.  Some days I think I might have the basic idea, like when she walks around gathering random things up and putting them in the gift bag she found, or when she pushes her Little People school bus around the floor.  Such sweet sights.  Other days I have no idea....

What could this be about?

Apparently it is something very exciting!

I can't wait until she is big enough to tell me what she is pretending!

Baby Einstein

Chloe loves watching Baby Einstein.  When she was sick with her cold she had to take breathing treatments and in my desperation to find something to distract her so she would be still, we discovered YouTube has some Baby Einstein.  She loves the one about the farm.  She will sit perfectly still and watch it pretty much the whole way through.  We didn't know it was possible for to sit so still!
